Default What is the standard boost pressure for a s2 ??

Sorry if this has been asked many times but the search function dosent seem to be working for me.

A friend of mine has just bought an e reg s2 with a t3 conversion, but for some reason its running 0.2 bar. now im sure that standard boost is has got to be higer than that.

So my question is what is the standard boost pressure ?
Also assumeing that everything bar the turbo is also standard can the boost be turned up higher than standard safely or will he need to look into i/c and injectors etc ??

Sorry if the questions seem dum but im used to r5's (boo hiss)

Thanks for any help

Biggs

Not to sure how to work out the bar but i think its 8psi and they come with T3 standard so dont get it when you say converted? but if you turn it up without chip and set up the car gonna run like crap mate, you can cheat by using a bleed valve but i would not go for that unless you dont care about the car!

some people will argue that it is 14.7 or 15, depending on whether it is absolute pressure, bar, or atm.... Ignore them - as it makes sod all difference. I use 15psi as its an easy fogure to work with.
