I know a few years ago the driving licence changed and new drivers were only allowed 6 points max and then they had to resit a test.

How long does this apply for????

IE, My Missus fell into this new scheme but she passed over 2 years ago now so is she now on the 12 point thing????

 

I passed in '97, and was told by the filth then, that 6 points within the first 6 month's of driving would result in a re-test. I have no idea what it is at the moment unfortunately m8

 

it applys for the first 2 yrs of someone getting their licence bro

 

The 6 point thing is only valid for the first 2 years as far as i'm aware.

 

So after the 2 years she can get upto 12 points like the rest of us???
