Default is it worth doing??? please read.

right then,
im sick of people passing judgment over this so cast your views please

this current engine build i`ve gone for small ported but very much re-shaped head running "undisclosed" cams,
pocketed pistons with a CR of about 8.5:1,
shotpeened rods, largely standard weight crank,

next section is totally fact, no pub talk bollocks or made up max power foo foo valves etc, its all there............

T61 turbo, one off exhaust manifold running turbonetics wastegate (biggest one they do, cant remember sizes/name), one off inlet manifold, huge 112mm throttle body, large (105mm throat) PRO Alloy intercooler, one off boost pipes etc

fuel`d by 4x 1000cc walbro injectors on P8 managment mapped by Paul Hills/ Engine Advantages
2xpumps mounted in the car and 10mm braided fuel lines throughout,

rest of car doesnt matter.....................
anyway,

i only plan to run 20 - 25psi HELD as not to stress the motor, im also planning on running an overboost or spike setup that peaks 30-32psi but drops right back down when not needed

i dont give a toss about power as im after massive torque!
this turbo flow chart equates to being on full boost by 3870rpm.

whats your views on this as im sick to the back teeth of muppets telling me i should back off to greys!
my previous setup with a big T4 and greys had no torque at all and was all wheelspin.

oppinions greatly appreciated!

Sean
p.s my RS200 T4 didnt spool up untill 4700rpm lol!!!

you're building the engine for yourself.
if you can justify the build to yourself, do it.
if you can't, don't do it.

i`ve been looking at quite a few 4cylnder, T61 powered engine/turbo specs/flow rates and if my dumb geordie brain has done correct working out............. it shouldnt have too much lag, be on full boost somewhere between 3800 to 4000rpm at its latest point.

but we shal see

regards Sean
