Was driving to grove yesterday afternoon and got pulled over - Asking me lots of question kept questioning if the car was mine how long i had had it etc strted checking the floor numbers. When i said look tell me whats going on she said this car has police interest!!!

They went back to there car to get more info and told me that my car had done the off from a petrol garage in clacton on sea on the 27th june the only info they had was a escort with my plate I have not been to clacton on sea since i brought the car a year and a half ago!!! Strange it happened there where i brought it from!! So someone is using my plate being dodgy Ive now got to liase with the police and send them details of previous owner who lives in clacton on sea!

So if you see a car driving round with my plate in essex pull them over and knock them out

 

I nearly got done for petrol theft once. Got a letter saying of intended prosecution saying I had filled up my works van with PETROL and driven off the forcourt. Firstly my van drinks DIESEL

Secondly, when the peeps who deal with this stuff at work got the CCTV tape, it shows my van parked in the petrol station filling up and me going off to pay for it, and the car next to me (with NO plate on it) filling up and driving off

Are all petrol station attendee's thick as horse shit?

 

Sexy-RS PM me the plate if you want as i work in clacton and theres a cab thats very similar (exterior wise) to yours but ive never bothered lookin at the plate as there not that interesting to look at . But ill have a looksie next time i see it

 

funny you should say that as i done the opposite at tottenham hale BP, i filled up, went to get cash out to pay and then i went to answer my phone, totally forgot and then got back in my car and drove to work, atlunch time i reaslied what i done and so went back to the station to pay as i should have done, they then said that they knew the car but showed me the reg of another car, i said it aint mine, they showed cctv image to me of it and then discovered it was the car AFTERme as my cossie dont have a front plate on it

so they was gonna nick someone else as they never had MY plate just so they never got in trouble by there boss ect


oh and i was also anoyed as that means i could have had 50 quids worth of fuel foc if i never went back

 

I have not even been near clacton tho

So someone must have my plate on there car!!!

Was the plate noted on Registration regonition camers??? You know, the automated ones?

Cos they NEVER get the plate right..... It could have been someone with a similar plate, as the car is from Clacton, and the software got it wrong?
