It was a good day today and really enjoyed myself watching track action with the rally cars every year it gets better and better fair play to people that run it

and a big thanks to Mark (rs bowk)and Doo from the Bristol group who gladly sorted me a place on their stand thankyou very much good to have a chat with you both




oh and i forgot to mension i blew the turbo and split a power steering hose good old fords never let you down

I was just pulling out of Frankly services, i got up to 140 and couldn't catch you so slowed down, then saw you pulling off at J2 (Broms turn offf i think)

was the my turbo smoking on the after run ? all i could see was smoke slowing down i also lost the power steering later on after that


i dd turn off at jct 2 to go to Broms as well planed to change the exhaust but he wasn't there i'll have to do it in the week now

i'm taking of the steering rack and going to get some -6 aeroquips fittings to it and braided hoses to the reseviour these have never been changed and been on the car along time , it just split the hose thats all i might aswell do do it properly


don't worry about this morning mate nothing you could do things like that some times can happen i was running late myself

I was with Daz and his mrs when the first shower came ,fook me i was totally wet with in 10 secs went to to galaxy to dry off a bit , had a bite to eat then went back to the car to get a umbrella and a good job i did because the last shower would of drowned me thats was unreal

i think it's only on the after run the seals must be fooked i can't moan it's been trouble free for 5 yrs since garrett re built it




I might change the turbo now and put a bigger one on it don't know yet

my national day track time might be up for sale now , i don't think i well get it sorted before then

once they start smoking thats it , it's not worth doing a track day on it becuse it will exploed mess up everything like I/c cooler/engine /oil cooler not worth the risk

these things happen and what can you do it's 19 yr old car i think we forget that you know , i know they look nice but they can piss you off at times like any modded car no matter what make
