bought my s1 a year ago, and now i'm gonna sell her as i need to free up some cash.

I bought her from the original owner, with loads of history, every mot etc. it only had 74k and it was all original and in good condition for the age of the car !

I've put new suspension on, poly's front, the rears are still sitting in a bag waiting to be fitted. Black samco's and a dump valve. I have a reconditioned turbo which i'll sell with the car ready for when the original one gives up. she's done 91k now, there is some rust coming up on the rear arches, but under the kit, and a litlle bit of rust on the rear valance. the interior is mint, with only a tiny crack on the dash.

So how much should she sell for people ?????

Ps. Sticker Paul it's not a minter....he said it's rusting round the arches.

Just a personal gripe of mine...when someone describes a car as mint i expect it to be mint. If i travelled 150 miles to see it and there was evidence of rust i would be pretty angry. Not having a go at anyone in particular but this has happened to me on a few occasions and it really pisses me off. Rant over.

This one does look v nice tho......

 

what its worth and what it sells for are different storys!!

what amount of money would you be happy with , you must already have a figure in your head??

it has good history as well by the sounds of it , low owners is always a good selling point

It's a nice car, but somin's gotta go coz i've got a road bike and a track bike. Can't afford all these toys.

Glens S1 is clean I can say that,,,,,,plus its normally me thats cleaning it,,,,as his doing something on mine which I can't do,,,anyway, I do a better job of cleaning her, so shes been well cared for believe me

3-3.5 depending on condition,whats missing/broken.and how bad the grott is.hpi clear? any panels replaced? original s1 are very hard to get hold of now.i would have been interested but just bought one

 

look in the bk of Fast ford or perf ford, their all usually above Ł3300 even the "ok" ones!!!

thats the type of S1 im after!

history must be worth a bit on top so would say its defo worth more than 2800 just by the pics. if its as good as you say then id start high at around 3800 and get ready to be knocked down a bit!

shame i dont have the cash!!
