does it say 16v zetec on the left of the rocker cover?

The oil filter on the blacktop is mounted on the back of the block like a CVH, The silvertop oil filter is on the oil pump. Thats just one of the easy to notice differences

The blacktop rocker cover isnt plastic like people think, I bought a fire damaged blacktop, All of the plastics around and on the rocker cover had melted, The rocker cover was still in tact but had warped and cracked from the heat

 

i new id get a reply saying that,

it has a black top but it not a black top engine oil filler is in the wrong place then,

the water pump is in the wrong place aswell

 

Yeah, in all fairness I have heard of people putting the later cam cover on the earlier engine..
