Default Saff Fuel line

Going to replace the main fuel lines on my brothers 4x4 Saff.

The return is no problem but the feed seems to have some sort of fancy plastic connector how do i get this off the pipe?

Also, will i need to go to ford for the new feed pipe or can i make this up?

Cheers,

Paul.

The cover needs prising off and underneath it is a standard pressure fit pipe, 8mm i recall. Just press teh collar in and teh pipe will pull off.
