how to fit wheels
hi there am lookin into buyin a set of 17's for my series 2 and was just wonderin what work is needed to carry this task out. the car has been lowered approx 35mm all round on spax adjustables.
any help would be greatley appreciated

should go straight on mate might get a little rub on back arches it all depend on how wide wheels are...

i recken it will be a very uncomfortable ride with 17s and a 35mm drop, imo i wouldnt go lower then 20 on 17's

Should be fine, a lot of people on here have 17s with around a 30mm drop with no rubbing although a lot with arch trimming.
I had 17x7 -30mm and had no probs at all (no back seats or fat asses though
)

i have 17's on with a 35mm drop, had to have the rears modded slightly to stop rubing, fronts go on without any mods.........but am soon changing to a smaller wheel size

No. I had 17's on mine and didn't remove anything. I was lowered 40mm and didn't touch anything

i fitted 17's on mine with a 35mm drop and mine scuffs and it felt a tad slower so for the quarter miles i revert back to th 15's

have decided am gonna pull my 205/45/16 cos style rims off my fez rs1800 which is for sale dirt cheap i may add.
