then the owner took me out in it with NOS on,

absolutely blew me away,

this was all to try get me to buy something of him, so i am doing

I know what you mean mate, I drove Karl Norris's 3DR a year or so ago, and that is over 600bhp..............

The thing scared the shit out of me, made my 370bhp 3DR feel like a 1.0l

i think with the NOS this was 580bhp

i need more than stage 3

will soon sort that problem out

possibly one of the worst cars ive ever driven was a 3dr with over 500hp, totally - dull. didnt enjoy it one bit. ive driven others with more and less, and tbh does nothing for me.

but i love the drivability of mine, think its a great set up for the road

Would love to have a drive of a 500 horsy, just to feel that power

Mind you, next time im at Karls house, he`s going to give me a blast in his clean pair of pants i think

 

Well i can only get to the 8200 rpm limiter in 3rd its that scary ...my Escos was about 320bhp and it felt like driving a milk float ..With 8-1 comp and a Karl Norris map you could never say my Saff is boring

i wouldn't want to ever drive 500bhp i would be so scared, andrew wouldn't even trust me with 230bhp

staffi...Karl reckons over 500bhp at the boost and i dont disbeleive him

 

Fast is relative, 500bhp seems very flat almost slow compared to say 700bhp & that feels sluggish compared to our present 900+ in a Cossie. Then you have Mr Cowie's car that makes mine feel like a milkfloat.

as he said staffi, its all relative I went out in a T4 8 injector car, and the difference between that and my 370bhp saff is unbelivable and in reality, 370bhp in a RWD car is still fucking rapid........
