When i refill it at the petrol station, i always get petrol spitting back out of the fuel cap like there's a blockage or something.

I have to fill it up really slowly (only pulling the trigger in slightly).

Any ideas what it could be???

 

its the breather pipe, it runs up the side of the filler pipe and enters it at the top, sounds like the tank is presurising and firing it back up that!! that or its just splash back on the back of the filler!!

 

Breather pipe blocked is most likely.

 

Definately not splash back as sometimes it trips the nozzle out as if it's coming back up the main pipe.

I'll try the breather pipe anyways. How easy is it to remove? Never done it before
