its got greens,3bar 4*4 intercooler,t34 and only produced 290bhp at 21psi why? what do yours make with this spec ?

 

I'd expect slightly above 300, maybe 310/320
What rolling road was it ? Maybe it was reading low.

 

track and road.it had 275lb of torque

 

that dont sound right ive got stg 2 conversion on mine chip light greens standard t3 19 psi and that was 296 bhp 309 torque ! prob something wrong with the rolling road

 

Sounds like a set up, and live map needed

 

no miss fire said was running nice maybe

 

My old one made over 330bhp @ 22 psi and 356bhp@ 26psi!

Has the engine been rebuilt/how many miles?

 

My 3dr has same spec only running 13psi due to ecu playing up,was on the rollers lastweek and put out 307bhp and 296lbft.

 

my stg3 setup made around 340-350 @ 28psi

 

That's a bit on the low side m8.

 

Mine made 349BHP and 355ft/lb @ 1.6 bar (23.5psi)(Greens,T34and 500 cooler) i would get a set-up mate

 

mines got the spec as you and i got 329bhp

 

same spec 329bhp 328lbft holding 24 psi charge air 45oC and overfuelling

 

yea must be due for a rebuild as i do have a bit of cylinder leakage and blow by what checks can i do, i know to do compression test what pressure should i be looking at b4 rebuilding it

 

Doesn`t mean a rebuild at all mate yet just get someone to check it over and get it live mapped and take it from there your in Essex, why not give Mark a call at MA DEVELOPMENTS

Nowhere near Essex i know, but Karl Norris......NMS is just awesome, im sure alot of people will second that but as i said, its a bit of a travel, but youre car will be transformed mine was........IS

it is only running at 21psi and holding 20.5

 

Should still have more power at that boost m8,EA should get you sorted out.

with your HP readings. is it at the fly wheel or the rear wheels??

im running 2wd sapphire with ahmed 400bhp chip. t34 turbo standard cooler and 23psi. what power should i expect at the wheels??? and with the ahmed chip how much boost do you think i can run 28? 30psi?? when i get a larger intercooler of course?

seems very down on power, mines a similar spec and mine did 311whp@6050rpm running 18psi

 

sorry my car ran 265 at wheels with the 4x4 cooler, so probs about 300 horse mate

 

Mine is running at 333bhp with 376lb torque.
