grey's Ring Trip 06 pics
Had another great trip all round
9 mainly spirited laps, learned how to get the back end out and drift it a little (out of Brunnchen especially) and scare my passengers Deano, Dingy, Lee R21 and Bob <- i don't think they thought i drove it like that
Had a very strange issue on Sunday, where my new TT Stage 3 sounded like it was surging and the car was not behaving like itself
- the culprit emerged on the m1.. the cold start injector blew out of the inlet, causing a
huge screaming airleak
me to panic
clutch in <- to save engine
grey to cut out and lost my brakes - nearly wrecked the car running up the back of Brads M3 who had pulled in seeing my hazards come on
So all is sorted now and ready for Central day at weekend
Thanks to Dingy for putting up with my screaming "Flat Ooouuuutt!!" and "Faster Dingo!!" out of Hocheichen and round by my favourite Kesselchen, Slacky for a smooth fast lap in the Noble, Jase for a very spirited and smooth lap in the 350Z and Nutter for the best 4 up lap (which i filmed in parts) in the 3 pot Polo TDi
Queuing for the ferry

Moment of disaster for Jonno

Tanker sat on Slacky's Noble??

Arrival at Pit Lane hotel

Most of the group were admiring this RUF Porsche in the car park, before it met it's end in the armco

Grey gets a bit bubbly after 2 pretty much back to back laps
Swapped with Dingo's tank cap and cured

PON, that Noble makes the best sound ever - cool car Slacky
Cheers Robbie, you and Shorty should have made the trip, you'd have loved it
Wil and Dingo get close in "the local" (aka Nutter's birds bar)

Cheers hon, pleased we're all home safe and sound
Another one for you Keith, the oil temp Defi saved me 2/3rd's of the way round on that 2nd consecutive lap, didn't give it enough time to cool down. Definately putting a water temp one in
Into the little Karussell
