would i need to get my car re mapped if i fit a 63 housing on my turbo as a 48 was on when it was mapped last

 

Yes, i would get the map checked at the least. Will not be a case of a full remap so your tuner should not charge you as such.

The at certain points in the rev/loadd range the Ve of the engine will change due to the larger exhaust housing. Both fueling and ignitonn figures will need tweeking. Someone like Stu @MSD will already have plenty of experience of where he will have to change your map for this fairly standard change in ex housing.
