Hi, can anyone tell me at what stage of tune should you uprate the oil pump on a cosworth, it had a full rebuild to a standard stage one, 3 years ago and has done little mileage since then but since then I have gone to a stage 2 about 300 to 320ish BHP,
so I was wondering if it is worth uprating the pump, as I will be taking the sump of this weekend to fix an oil leak anyway. Cheers!

there is a new updated 4x4 pump available from cosworth.

stick one in if you have it all out anyway..

think its about 140 quid tho

 

Pump change can never go a miss and uprated ones can only be good if anything......

 

if you have good oil pressure and flow, and are suffering from no problems, then i don't see any benefits TBH.especially at just stage 3 power, however a new part is always a good thing
