I saw this rig when I was up in Hartlepool a few weeks ago before it was shipped out to sea. If you think that all looks good you should have seen the outside, it was mega.

That looks decent, i was gonna ask you if you have ever worked in Norway, i'm supposed to have
a new job over there next month but i just had a meeting with my boss, with an offer i can't refuse....

In all honesty is a bit of a pisser i was hoping they were going to make it easy for me to leave but now i have my doubts.

Working for BJ, so it will be all over, that's the beauty of working for a service company, you go somewhere shite, it's usually only 4 one trip. Two weeks on, 3 weeks off not bad either.

You still with Schlum? Guess it all depends on what kind of deal you been offered, i know that we are offering our guys mental deals to stay ATM as the workload is through the roof (and has been for the past 18 months)

Sorry M8 thats not the type of work we do, we are in whats called "Well Interventions & Completions". Your best bet is to get your CV into the likes of Amec as they have been awarded hook up of the platform above so will be looking for plenty of fitters, scaffs and sparks
Good luck with the Survival M8
(you will pass unless you refuse to do a task)

We do have it hard out there, sometimes they run out of Sports Mixtures

Stu,
They are manufactured on dry land and then floated out in bits. They then sink the legs and lift the modules on with a fairly big crane

Semi's and jack-ups can just get towed to the well site.
