Still can't believe the pub in Leeds where they played once is now the Hugo Boss Store

I had the chance to go and see them play in Norwich and didn't bother going! Only about 50 people attended in the end! This was obviously before the release of 'Nevermind'!! At that time, not many people had heard of them. Nevermind is an awesome album. Not really what I listen to now, but certainly a classic for me.

Still can't believe it was 12 years ago that he ended it all.

 

Was never that keen on kurt and nirvana, but look on the bright side, if he hadn't of blown his brains out we would never have got the THE FOO FIGHTERS!! Rock on dude

 

I love the Foos mate but we would have got them anyway. Dave and Krist had had enough trying to deal with Kurt's heroin addiction, and they would have split anyway.

It's pretty shitty that the last time Dave saw him, he was trying to catch him running through an airport, and he lost him in the crowd.

All i remember is there was this really annoying greebo girl at school at the time, and if she got on my nerves all i had to do is point my fingers like a gun, point it towards my mouth and go bang, and shed run off crying, job done

Have to say I agree with Dave. It's a shame when anyone decides to top themselves but he had everything but decided injecting heroin was far more fun.

Smells like Teen Spirit is a classic tune and he should be here now to make more, but it's his own fault. He had the lot and threw it away because of drugs.

 

why is everyone saying rip and all that shit..he was a fucked up mess who couldnt handle fame apparently..so he joins a band then goes on one when they get successful..
