s2 brakes ???????????????

Default s2 brakes ???????????????

right can someone give me some advise iv been doing some brakes on a mates s2 iv ripped all the abs (scs) shit off and re piped it front to rear and fitted cozzy rear brakes and some willwood 4 pot fronts iv done this by feeding the front brakes from the rear outlet on the master cylinder to tee peace then to each wheel and and rear from the front outlet on the master cylinder to rear threw a byass valve to a tee peace to to each wheel but cant get a good peddle there is no air in the system what so ever iv even tried another master cylinder and its still the same iv checked that the rear calipers are adjusted up ok and still a shit peddle any ideas what it could be before i go and burn the thing cheers! ant

did you bleed the rear calipers with the bleed nipple at the highest point? If not you need to undo the caliper and slide it round the disc until it is then bleed it...

Also did you bleed everything with the car jacked up or on the floor?

If it was jacked up the rear load compensators will give the brakes a shit feel

iv taken all the load compesators off ! iv checked and double checked for air and there is none at all

oh ok you didn't say you'd ripped them off...

not being funny but did you bleed them with the handbrake off? Also with the bleed nipples on the rear at the highest point?

yes bleed nipples to the top and hand brake off its really doing my head in fooking thing

unless you've done as described above, there will be air in it still (took me a while to figure it out on my old car)

also, try nipping the rear wheel bearings up a tad, if these move too much, it will make for a spongy pedal

What happens if you swap the front / rear pipework on the m/c ?

Are you still running the servo ?

yes still running the servo cant swap the pipes they have diffrent fittings on them

Had very similar problems when I fitted big brakes up front and rear discs...Are you using a pressure bleeding kit? I found the eezibleed kit worked well in the end..

ive got this same problem.
its the master cylender not big enough for the bigger brakes.
dont know what to do about it now!>?!?!?!!?!?!>!?!?!>

i made all the changes that u did and mine were still shit , took it vto a garage and they bleed them said there was loads of air in them , now there spot on
