Mate all you've got to do is go onto My Computer and go to Ipod or what ever it's named click on it then you'll open a box. The Music files are hidden so you have to left click in the box go to properties. And on the list some where theres a little tick box.
I think it says something like "show hidden files" tick the box and you should find a shadded file within the box. And hey presto all your music files are in there to do as you wish...

Ok, basically iTunes stores everything on an ipod in a completely random place to stop you from just copying albums you want off your mates ipod.
The easiest way to get all the songs is thisgo into the start menu and then search and then for files and folders. Then click search for all files and folders. then click on use advanced search options. where it says look in, select your ipod. then click more advanced options at the bottom and tick search hidden files and sub folders. then hit search. it will bring up a list of every single file on the ipod. just select all the music ones, click copy and then paste them to wherever you want them on your pc.
Job's a goodun.

Ok, do you have itunes and your ipod registered on your computer? I mean can you still add songs at the moment to your ipod?
Your ipod should say whatever it's actually named on your pc. It should be listed after your cd drives etc. So if your ipod is named warley's Ipod in itunes thats what it should be on the list.
