location for oil temp sensor on my cossie

Default location for oil temp sensor on my cossie

cant fit my oil temp sensor using the specail sump plug adaptor so where else could i fit?

can you get inline adaptors for the oil line to the turbo etc?

where else could i fit it?

Sump needs to come off and a boss welded on. Should have done that while the engine was being built .

Just out of curiousity, why can't you use your sump plug adapter?

when tom at AVA was modifying my sump he used a bigger bolt as the sump plug, so the adaptor i have is the wrong thread.

he cant remember what thread it is

do carwise do a take adaptor on the oil line to the turbo?

Well just get one made with the correct thread you numpty - it's not fucking rocket science . Any machine shop could do it .

thought of that but will need to take the bolt out and check the thread...

will do it at next oil change...


still would like to know if carwise or anyone else did the take off thingys?

My hands are tied, as the company machining it for me are currently flat out at the moment .
