A car is only worth what you are prepared to pay for it, if the asking price is say £4,555.00p and you are happy then thats fine, I see two virtually similiar cars for sale first is £3,750.00p the other £4,125.00p, which is the better car ?, what are they worth ?, its your money and a guideline is what you seek, clubs alsways value a car more than the traders. Note do allow for anything the car needs doing to it as well, thats important.
Over the past few weeks I have seen in auto trader and on ebay cossies with that mileage goe for £4,000.00p to £5,999.00p, now I have only seen pictures and not the actual cars, worth looking at the RSOC site, that should give you a better idea, I am not in a position to say too much or too low, only can give a little help, its your money, heres an example, my friend purchased a mondeo st24 for £4,999.00p and was pleased, next week same spec car offered for £4,250.00p, he thought he got ripped off, but was he ?.
