ive recently bought 2 front fiesta turbo seats to fit into my mk3 escort, i was told it was just a simple swap the runners over on the bottom and they fit straight in? but thats not true

has any body had this problem too? is there any way round it? any info much appreciated.

 

different subframes, defo won't bolt in i'm afraid. You'll have to get some mk3 ones, bound to be some in a scrappy

 

just drill new holes in your mk3 subframe to line up with threaded holes on bottom of recaros

 

its not the runners that dont fit on the seats,they bolt straight on to the fiesta seats,but you have to disconnect the bar that links the runners to gether that opperates the catches to get them to fit on so theres the first problem the connecting bars are too short after,meaning there further apart on the fiesta,so they dont line up no where near with the holes in the floor of the car after,and im not drilling the floor.
