Iam guessing they are? Anyone know for sure? Its a pump off a 90' XR3i which i was told was an RST but now he's not sure

 

i got a feeling mate that if it was an efi xr3i then the pump is in the tank.

is it a bosch pump and can u read the numbers on it?

post them up if u can. or stick them in google and see what comes up

 

the '90 spec 3i's from mid 1989 on had efi engine so pump in the tank. if its pump of 1990 3i it'll be the wrong one.

well now ur pushing it aint ya.

im sure some1 will know. so basicially u wanna know if an rs turbo fuel pump is the same as an external pump that came of an early xr3i.

just thought i'd sum it up for u there incase of any confusion.

 

They are the same as there the same part numbers but its got to be one off a non efi one as these are inside the tank.....

 

si just realised. what tank is fitted to ur fiesta?
if its a frst tank would the pump not be in the tank?

but anyway, it looks like the pump from jamies car will do ya

 

No its got a swirl pot but the pump is outside. looks like ill buy jamies pump then
