Default alloy engine mounts wtf ??

right who's got alloy billet engine mounts I have just fitted mounts on a cosworth 2wd and they vibrate the complete car

Guess why its rubber bushes on a standard car.

I thought Vibratech was bad enough for a start and they got rubber bushes to dampen the worst vibrations. Can't imagine how bad it must feel without any rubber at all.

they are feckin horrid on a road car. If urs is jusy a summer weekend warrier, or track car then they're shit hot. For road use, id just replace the std ones once a year.

I've got these on mine, and whilst they are VERY stiff, they do still have a bush - no nasty vibrations

I have the same as Bill on mine - excellent mounts indeed, and a little vibration at idle, but nothing major
