Less than cost of putting it on retention [sub 100quid] imo

well I was only wondering as they sell "999" plates for £250 that seem otherwise random enough, but have no clue when it comes to seliing them

From my opinion, most of the plate selling and valuing companys are optamistic

Change your name by deed poll to G999 SGF then it'd be perfect for you!

It also costs nothing except a bit of hassle changing your credit cards and getting your mates to change your name in their mobiles. Unlike putting it on retention

Is there no where you can find out how much private plates are worth. Thinking of selling mine too

Shuddup grumpy arse

go to www.regtransfers.co.uk

In my experience, thats no evidence as to what a plate is worth as 99% of them on these sites aren't owned by them anyway. We had LKM 1 a few years ago and saw it advertised in the autotrader by 4 different companies

When you look on www.dvla-som.co.uk and you can get say a B19 or B16 number for £250 including transfer, I can't see a G999 being worth as much as the retention fee, unless it ended in BUM or something that wasn't just random initials.

it's just on a car I'm looking at buying

If I could just flog it for £50 I'd be happy as the car will only be getting broken anyway

that valuation place just got back to me

Thank you for your enquiry regarding registration mark G999 SFG. We would be
pleased to sell the
registration on your behalf and would return you the sum of £400 NET to yourself
upon
the completion of the transfer.
400 quid! and now I've gone and retracted my bid and bid on a different, more expensive car
