Default Maximum Turbo Boost??

My sapphire is making 18PSI peak and then drops to 15PSI. Is this too much?

Is stage 1 with standard injectors. I know that 15 PSI is max recomendend for stage 1 but don't know if it's peak or constant boost here.

thanks in advance for any advice

Chip is a Collins.

I'm asking this because I have started to feel a strong vibration past 4000rpm, don't know if it has anything to do with turbo. l didn't notice before with 13 psi. something like having a engine mount broken or so (but checked mine and are fine).

Is it just revs or more like a fixed road speed? If its just revs, check your exhaust for fitment, ie sometimes if its not hung correctly and some part of it is stressed then it can cause a vibration/tizz also check your turbo damper...an item that gets over looked, mine included

Stu.

Spring is compressed a lot and there is a big gap also. Don't know if this is correct.

well, the vibration has to do with the gearbox for certain. now it's getting harder to shift... any ideia?

turbo damper looks quite normal, but hard to say from those pictures. i have the section of workshop manual that tells you how to adjust it correctly if you would like it?

Thanks, I have the workshop manual, they say 4mm between supporter and damper, but I have a lot more, spring doesn't look too good.

I think I will get a new damper kit. Anyway I have ordered new engine mounts also. I'm getting crazy with this.

Mine starts vibrating like hell around 3000 (as soon as I get positive pressure) and never ends till I decelerate. If I acelerate gradually without puting too much pressure, vibrates but not much.

I believe it has something to do with damper or engine mounts.
