This stuff tastes quite nice. I especially like the plain which has no flavour at all. I get bored of chocolate etc all the time.

Biglad,

Whey is generally 100% protein. This would be ideal for you as it feeds the muscles without the downside of gaining fat like a carb drink would. From my understanding any protein your body doesn't absorb you shit out.

For someone with a high metabolism, which at 22 stone I doubt you have, carbs are converted and burnt off as energy. If they are not burnt off your body stores the energy (fat).

I've been using this stuff for years, mostly because it's always and offer + therefore cheap!! Seems pretty good.

Ive been having two scoops 22g each (16g protein in each) with about 450ml of semi skimmed, milk twice a day.

Does this seem about right ?

depends on your training/diet

I train every day.. and have a shake with water @ 6am.. then post work out at 2pm with water

and then in the afternoon/evening at 5-6pm with water

my main meal

and a shake with skimmed milk before i go to bed

This stuff is overpriced and misleading!!!

I used this whey for about 12 months and it was 'alright' made some gains, tasted alright and seemed cheap

However, i use Reflex instant whey which contains the most protein per gram!this is better as:

1. each serving is smaller, contains more whey per serving (19.5 grams). You have to careful when reading value as you may say 'oh this whey has 25g of protein per serving' but that will be because the serving size is much larger not because it contains more protein per gram. therefore this reflex whey lasts for 10 weeks minimum, unlike holland and barrett one which lasted 3 weeks max. It may cost 32 pound but when comparing the quality, nurition and the fact holland and barrett charge 20 pound alot the time and even if they charged a tenner, it would still not last as long!!!!

Take note

started using my banana that turned up yesterday, the vanilla is out of stock at the minute, they'll send it along asap, so if youve ordered vanilla you'll be in the same boat id imagine.
