As you all know I started at the gym 2 n half weeks ago!

Since joining I've been doing mainly cardio, and been going everyday bar 2...the first one i didn't go as I done my calf in and could barely walk and the second was sunday because I was working and they shut at 7

Anyway...

for a change I thought I would try a couple of classes! On Monday after 45 mins cardio, I thought I would give the "Body Attack" class a go... 1 hour long, intense cardio work out to music, it was very good, and I certainly felt the aches the next afternoon!

Tonight I went to the "Body Pump" class, lifting weights to music, working all the muscle groups...again a vey good class!

Does anybody else use any classes at the gym and what are your thoughts on them?

 

one of my mates teaches the classes only one that has real interest is pole dancing lol

 

 

i thought the 'boxercise' class sounded interesting, so i made sure my work out was around the time when the class started.

Needless to say i didn't join because it just looks like people dancing around with boxing gloves on. No other reference to boxing at all !

 

Depends on what you want from your workouts really....do you want to get fit and lose fat or put on some beef and bulk up?

 

full body workouts are hard tho lol

 

doubt many of us will use the classesmy girlfriend goes to loads and was saying at one the instructor was making them stretch while saying be like a whale

 

kung fu is my thing no classes just train at home dos everything streach strengh speed cardio

 

not heard that one! lmao

At the two classes I tried out this week, there was majority women in them, but there were men doing them too!
