weekends only?
Advice needed,
When i left school use to go to gym and was in decent shape but like most people stopped going and got fat lol , a couple of years ago i did about 6 months weight training at home and was happy with the results (3 or 4 days a week) Since going back to my old job this has stopped and i have put weight back on
Problem is the only chance i get to exercise is the weekend by which time i think theres no point, Is it worth weight training just at the weekend? or would i be better off taking up jogging etc? Im thinking i should go cardio to lose between 1 and 2 stone then switching back to weights? just dont want to waste my weekends on the weights if its not really enough
Thanks for any advise sorry about the essay and i Honestly have virtually no spare time during week

anything is better than nothing mate....ok you're not going to see results as fast, but it's far from a waste of time. If you are just looking to lose weight, then I would be hitting the cardio at least one of the two days, if not both.

Training can be a real shit sometimes....but....put in the work and see the results even if it does mean getting up at 4am for a jog!! Do that and do weights at weekends. 1st session being lunch time Saturday and 2nd being Sunday eve. Go heavy on whatever you do....you have 5 days to repair!!
Truck driver up at 3am ussually done between 4 - 7 pm and away all week in truck, So best going heavy on weights at weekend and try and get my lazy arse jogging during the week lol . Only ever tried jogging on a tradmill and it hurts the shins after about 7 mins
would like to say yes but it will never happen, Think i will go heavy with weights Sat and Sunday then once im in routine try throwing cardio (jogging) when i get a chance to run.
Just need to start with some easy basic weight exercises this weekend lol

Yeah and maybe a swimming pool too?

I dont know your status but I work within the shipping industry and quite alot of our container tips take 3-4 hours. You havent said what you deliver so it might not be the case for you but can you not get stuck in with the unloading? I know your insurance doesnt cover you and all that bollocks that drivers normally come out with but thats just their way of shirking work.
If you drive a cab and pull a trainler maybe you could strap a bike to the back of it? I've seen that done before many time (usually for pub runs) but you can use it for exercise.
