Problem is the only chance i get to exercise is the weekend by which time i think theres no point, Is it worth weight training just at the weekend? or would i be better off taking up jogging etc? Im thinking i should go cardio to lose between 1 and 2 stone then switching back to weights? just dont want to waste my weekends on the weights if its not really enough

Thanks for any advise sorry about the essay and i Honestly have virtually no spare time during week
Why no time to train......what job do you do? 10 weeks before a fight I get up at 4am and go for a 4 mile jog. I do this 4 times a week. Once finished my jog I go back to bed for an hour then go to work ( I work as a scaffholder) Once i get back home I get to the gym and spend no longer than 45 mins in there then onto the bag for 25-30 mins. I always make sure im home and dry by 7pm.
Training can be a real shit sometimes....but....put in the work and see the results even if it does mean getting up at 4am for a jog!! Do that and do weights at weekends. 1st session being lunch time Saturday and 2nd being Sunday eve. Go heavy on whatever you do....you have 5 days to repair!!
