Using Pro-Plus to burn fat?

Using Pro-Plus to burn fat?
Have seen this mentioned a few times now. I know caffeine is meant to be a good fat metaboliser, but does this really work well?
I've been bullking up, and my training/weight gain has been going really well, only thing is, I want to shift the layer of fat off my stomach to expose my abs a bit more, without easing off the muscle gain.
Naturally I'm going to stay on the protein, and lay off the carbs a bit. But again, I don't want to lay off them too much just yet as I need the energy for my training!
Any ideas for the best way to keep the balance right?
I've seen fat metaboliser tablets with green tea, caffeine etc in it, but they're big tablets, and I've always had difficulty swallowing big tablets. At least with pro plus they're tiny tablets and easy to swallow. I don't particularly enjoy green tea as a drink, but would happily suffer it for a worthwhile gain

imo caffeine on its own wont do a great deal of fat burning in the grand scheme, it will give you slight energy increase though so may help while doing cardio
but as said above with ephedrine it works a treat

Personally I think using caffiene is a crap idea, for weight loss. Sure it may give you a little more energy in the gym if you take some before, but overall it gives you uneven energy levels through the day, which can only be bad. As you "come down" you feel weak and tired, and this can make you hungry... (this thread is about weight loss, remember)
... and it can interfere with your sleep, leaving you tired through the day, unwilling to exercise & craving sugary foods to give you energy... (this thread is about weight loss...)
That's my experience anyway.

the caffeine isnt used in the stack to get extra energy though, have a read of this... its writen by one of the suppliment gurus on muscletalk

ECA = Ephedrine/Caffeine/Aspirin stack
Ephedrine and Caffeine have been shown to work synergistically; that is, the total is greater than the sum of the parts ie. 1+1=3
They work TOGETHER to promote weight-loss, boost energy and enhance athletic performance. It's debatable as to the importance of aspirin in the grand scheme. It is included in the hope that it acts as a prostaglandin inhibitor and an enhancer of lipolytic activity. I believe it not to be an essential ingredient; indeed, many people are intolerant to Aspirin. Another thing worth noting is that ECA has some anti-catabolic properties, which means that we can retain some muscle even while cutting.
