Default Cutting phase

My friend is now starting his cutting phase... Losing excess body fat so the muscles show well..

I was thinking about doing this, but think I need to work out more.

Problem I have is that my stomach seems to be getting bigger through eating larger meals, taking protein shakes and creatine.

Is it normal to increase on your belly when trying to bulk up?

I am on average putting 1/4 stone a week... apart from last week when I lost some as wasn't eating properly.

Thanks

How and what are you eating exactly? You shouldnt really be eating large meals, more so little but often.........every 3-4hrs and if you can manage it a protein shake in the middle of the night.

Well at the moment I have 3-4 meals a day as can't get away with eating more at work...

I have my protein shakes, but take the night time one with milk as it is a slow release that way.
