I've missed proper training for the last 3 months now, due to knee and ankle issues :-(

I've still kept up with a basic routine, but I'd love to go back running again, really missing it... doesn't feel like a 'full' day lol If that makes sense...

Just started back on Monday after two weeks holiday. Aching a bit at the moment!

I have been training on and off for about 12 years but in that time I have had a few breaks. In the early days when I couldn't afford membership to a gym etc but in more recent years I have had a tumour which knocked me out for about 3 months and then a broken hip which took me out for about 6 months. Found it even harder to get back into it after both of them offs as I had been ill.

Forever got injuries though of one sort or another.

I picked up an injury in 2004 which put me out for a year its still not 100% either
I feel bad if i miss a single session, for me running is addictive,i feel i have to train, the fitter i get the more i want ot train and so on. It can be annoying when your thinking about fitting in a session before work,or in your dinner break or maybe in the middle of the night, lol.

Scary....

I started my routine back in October last year, since then ive done between 3 and 6 days a week and never missed a single day, ever.

I missed my first ever 3 days in a run this week due to work commitments and it left me feeling low and down, really love being there... not sure if this is good or bad at times.
