ive got one too.. personally id recommend putting the original airbox back on as your have 2 cold air feeds built into.. open cones are waste of time on the v6's they get way to much heat soak from the engine bay.. i lost about 10bhp from having a viper so ripped it off and binned it

I've had all sorts of quick cars over the years, Impreza turbos, BMW 325's, Vectra GSI's etc.
I am Police Ex-Traffic. I fully expect flaming for that, BUT i have had the opportunity over the years to thrash some good cars. The reason i bought the Mondeo ST200 is because it's quick, has an excellent chassis and gearbox and is one of the best handling big front wheel drive cars available.
I was out for a quick drive the other day in East Yorkshire on some cracking roads and i put the wind up a bloke in a 911. He couldn't shake me off, he pulled over and bottled it in the end.lol.(OK i was thrashing the ST but by god i was impressed with the sheer speed and smoothness of the thing). Excellent.

It's going back to standard as it's the wife's car. The TSW Pace 17' alloys are for sale and I will be taking off the K&N at some point soon. If I could be arsed I would also remove the Koni's but I like the way it sits on the standard alloys (40mm drop) so will properly leave them on.
Not sure what to do with it TBH, toying with the idea of selling it before she really drops in price as it's a mint W-reg with 46k FFSH etc etc. I could just drive it about till the V6 dies (which should be quite a while as I've replaced the waterpump for the metal jobbie).
Possibly gonna go for another Cossie, 2wd this time though.

Does anyone have a contact for a new exhaust for my 200 Estate?
It hasn't gone yet but they seem to be fearsomely expensive.
Ideally i'd like a stainless one which would accentuate the V6 rumble but i have been quoted over Ł500.
Cheers
Paul.

Yep you tell them you've got an ST200 and they say "oh an ST24" as if correcting you and you say "no it's an ST200" and they look at you as if you've just landed from Mars!
I also had the fortune of having to explain the Ltd Saloon bit. I got fed up and just said to people "I've got a Mondeo" as I watched their look of dissappointment, I smiled to myself.

I own a Panther Black ST24 and he is my baby, ask anyone. I am obsessed with my car.
Personally speaking i prefer the 24 to the 200. BHP isn't everything and at a recent STOC Rolling Road there was a 200 there that had a bhp of 153 at the wheels. Only 5 more than my car.
