Does the Ka share the same suspension as Fiestas? The front shocks look very sim to Fiesta ones to me is all.

kas use eye mounts at the base of the shock rear, fez use fork, fronts the same though

 

Some fiesta's also use eye mounts..

 

the mk 3 and 4 use eye mounts but i think the front is different then, i assumed nomad was talking about the mk 5

Prob is there are so many variations on the Fiesta suspension, in fact the mk3 and 3.5 use the eye mount exclusively. I am unsure on the mk4, but the mk5 certainly uses eye mount, and fork mount, on the zetec s. If you look at zetec s rear beams some are eye and some fork. I have a eye one in my garage that I personally removed from a zetec s!

Back on subject, are we certain here that none of the Ka stuff is the same as ANY fiesta stuff?

 

well i did put front ka shocks and springs into a mk 5 1.3 fez for mot few weeks ago, what exactly do you need to know?

 

Im pretty sure Mk 3.5 suspension is the same as the Ka.

The early Ka's used fork mount rear suspension..
