Default Rs2000 i4 engine into a fiesta mk1 xr2

Hi people,
Hoping some of you really intelligent people may be able to help.

As you can see from the title myself and my brother are restoring a Mk1 XR2. However the engine we have decided to go with the I4 lump for a change to zetec's and duratec's.

The one thing we are unsure about at the moment is whether or not to use the mtx75 box that is with the lump or to go for the IB5 box with a lsd from a s2 erst???.

We know that we will have to adjust eveything to fit, but we are determined to try it.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Cheers Macca

its been done a couple of times have a look on xrtwo.com

I'd go for a duratec though, more power and about 40kg less so will handle better
