Hi,

I've got a 2007 Fiesta ST and the other day the diff decided to explode and leave a few nice holes in the gearbox casing.

What options do I have? I know the box is unique to the ST, but are there any other IB5 boxes from which certain bits will fit etc? The main issues I'm having is the casing to be honest, there's just none around and Ford want £500 for a new one!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

I know there was a conversion kit on ebay so you can run a mtx75 box out of a v6 mondeo. As for the IB5 the one in the ST is a IB5+ gearbox has a different bell housing to other IB%'s and a better diff best way to combat that is a quaife diff mate
