Default fiesta st brake cable question

Hi guys, im doing the st rear brake conversion on my girlfriends mk6 zs and was wondering if i need to change the whole hand brake cable over or just the end sections they have on the zs ? i dont have the st cable to see how they differ so want to check before buying the cable if i dont need it, ive tried using euro car parts to check part numbers and they come up with in the detail section the brakes are drums on the rear lol.
Cheers

99.9% it will be the cable, ST is discs, ZS is drums and both will have different types of handbrake cables, if you look on top of the calipers you will almost certainly see a lever there, this is the handbrake mechanism.

on the zs its a 3 piece cable the main bit fom the handbarke handle in the car to either side of the beem and two little connecting wires about 8 inches along that connect to the main cable then into the drum, I was just wondering if the st cable is one bit or 3 like the zs with different connecting sections ?

You need to use the ST cable.

No drum cables go inside the drum itself and onto a "Handbrake lever" on the trailing shoe and have a nut on the end which hold them in place.

Calipers on the other hand have levers on the top usually and have different fixings on the two ends of the cable which sit over these levers to actuate them.
