Default Fuel Filter Change

Hi all,

How easy is it to change a fuel filter on my MK5 Ford Fiesta 1.2 Zetec S. Its look like its not been changed for sometime by the last owner and i want to carry out a service which i am ok with the other bits but not sure on the fuel filter.

I know its located near the rear next to the tank and it does not look in a good condition. People say its ok just to remove and not much fuel will come out. Is this true.

Also how is the filter fixed in place under the car and what keeps the exisiting pipes on.

Can i use jubliee clips to secure the pipe back on or should i use the ford clips

Chris
