What condition are the lamp units in? How old are the bulbs? Are the lenses clean?

53 plate shouldn't be causing problems. Could uprate the bulbs but it's not technically legal and can overload the wiring.

this was my first post here and i have posted many since

not all technical

many stupid posts about my love for beer etc,

but as we approach the winter months (doesnt it start to get dark from 21st june?!) i would really like stronger lights in my car. i have got a 53 plate fez zetec which i have had for about 12 months or so now and notice when driving along unlit stretches of roads that it i really need stronger lights

eyesight is not great i would admit and wear glasses for late night driving but can anyone specifically recommend a more powerful, brighter, whiter? light fo a 53 plate fiesta zetec without it annoying other drivers ?

thanks

Sounds like u need to get ur car checked out to me mate.

Does it have the switch that aims the headlights up and down?

If it does, adjust it to 0 setting and try it then. If it's set to 3 then ur gonna be lighting up ur front bumper more or less/

If u haven't got this swithc, try taking it to a garage to get the headlight aim checked out and adjusted if needs be. All MOT testing stations have a bit of kit used for doing this.

Hope this helps

Try looking for some Xenon bulbs, they are supposed to be a purer whiter light than normal halogen bulbs

Get the fuel sender checked out before the warranty runs out

i dont think that safechav meant the whole conversion kit , just buy the xenon style bulbs, they will cost around 20 squids and i think that you will need h7 fitment but not too sure on newer fezzers
