you need a 2.0l ecu with either of the following codes _ DEEP, DEWY, DESK and you also need an air flow mass meter with a code on it that matches the ecu.
i have a DEWY ecu but still searching for a mass meter so mine is currently running on 1.8 ecu with a superchip. seems fine but havent really driven it much

air flow meters shouldnt make a difference mate.
i have used air flow meters from mondeos on escorts and escort ones on mondeos for prob search and have all worked fine....
i will be dropping a 2.0L zetec turbo lump in my RS in the new year once i finish building it, well, start

the hesitation will prob be because its still on the 1.8 AFM, but in reply to your question yes those ecu's i listed all have the internal edis control on them.
done two hundred miles in mine now and its awesome and still running fine on 1.8 management but just seems a little down on power, beat my mates £11,000 mini cooper
