Default running issues under load

my rs will start no bother, idle no bother and if i take the revs up slowly go all the way up and if i am hard on the throttle it pops, bangs, backfires and generally wont rev.

ive changed the plugs and they were very sooted up
changed the coil pack and leads as i thought the coil pack was breaking down under load but no joy

its not smokey but does have a strong petrol smell coming out the rs end

any ideas?

if the crank sensor wasnt working you wouldnt have any fuel or spark. if you have a spare then no harm in swapping them to check

if it was doing this once warm another one to check would be the coolant temp sensor but i take it these problems are from cold.

My issue is warm! I have a custom temp sensor.

Running 235 bhp so I might try upgrading injectors! They might be on the limit?

Sorry, it's a temp sendor to a gauge.

Yeah I was thing of getting a omex 600 and taking it down to Motorsport developments to remap it.

Not sure how much they charge though :/
