Default anyone else had this problem????(frst)

when i got my fiesta rs turbo it had a oil leek from around the turbo
got that sorted and a few days after that my turbo blew up got a brand new one stage 1 hybrid and that blew up after 2 days of driving

was down my mate for a few months trying to find out why i blew 2 turbo's in the space of days

it turned out to be the sump the oil return pipe into the sump couldnt flow the oil back into the sump quick enough and the oil would build up back through the pipes and kill the turbo

phoned a few places and got a modified sump for £250 and that fixed the problem

my mate has just put a fiesta RS turbo engine into a RS 1800 and it has started to smoke like mine did just before the turbo blew

so has anyone had the same problem the the oil return into the sump??
is it a common problem???

I haven't had this problem but my turbo went on my frst and i went for a stage 2 from turbo dynamics and it came with a modified oil drain kit (sump). They don't sell it without cos they have had alot of problems with it in the past. The price was included in the turbo but i think it was £160
