Help Me Please!!! FRST Issues
Right i'll begin from the start i bought my FRST in Jan it drove fine apart from it idled at 3k and when you put 95% and above throttle on the car would stop which i believed was over boost protection. I worked on it for the next few week changed the ISCV, TPS, Serviced the car (Oil, Filter, Plug and Leads) and cleaned it all up under the bonnet and checked for any boost leaks etc. After this the car ran better but still had the same issues so i changed the fuel filter still no better.
Then fitted a boost gauge to check the boost and fitted a 165 chip to check the over boost protection anyways the same happened and the car boosted at 7psi fine so took the chip off again. At this point i was lost so took it to a garage they did a fault report on it and came up with a map sensor and CPS problem they resolved this and the idle but at that point the car got WORSE!!! then it wouldnt tick over at all and now i couldnt even drive it the guy said there might be an issue with the ECU at this point i had lost faith in him as he made the car terrible and my mates had finally got there garage open so it went there.
They started to look at it and found lots of wiring issues theses have all been sorted the car still didnt run so then they started changing all sensors for known working ones and also fitted a new CPS as the one on the car was buggered at this point i had a known working OFAB ECU so we tried this now the car would tick over but not run. They found that the throttle bodie was also only held on with 3 screws and the 4th was threaded so they sorted this but still no better. They then fitted a brand now FSE uprated fuel pump and if anything its made the car worse wouldn't even tick over we then tried some different injectors and injector wireing loom in it and another EDIS + MAP Sensor the car now ticks over but you cant drive the car at all as soon as you put it under any load it cuts outs.
I'm really at a loss now and cant think whats wrong with it can anyone help me?
Its looking like i'm going to have to break it

HI mate,
Had a sim problem with my escort, car would tick over and then cut out when under load.
Turned out to be the distributer, not the cap but the housing at the end of the cam shaft.
No expert, but hope this helps.
