i've just had mine put on by my garage and they didnt really have to much trouble. they uese 195's and they just raised the suspension up and that they used spacers too. got a lovely set of Pradas on them!

1. They used a 195 tyre on an 8J rim
2. They spaced out wheels that already sit too far out

second that! Why would it need spacing? To be fair you can get away with a 195 on a 8j, the golf boys do it all day long.
Yes and No.......... Depends how fussy you are. Mine with stretched 195/40 on the fronts and 195/45/16 on the back about 30/40mm drop (not too sure as the car already came lowered) Didn't do no mods to the car just put them straight on no catching or touching the shocks or arches. Only problem when you go over a ditch ot something you know about it.......
