Fiesta Zetec S Engine Conversion
Hey Guys,
Just after a little advice. I'm after doing an ST170 conversion on my ZS, I have some mechanical knowledge and know about engine management and harness splicing etc. But what I need to know is what about drive shafts, engine mounts etc.
Any help would be much appreciated.
TIA

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
if you want 170bhp, i'd have thought it'd be easier to put in a racing puma engine (150bhp) and tune that?
should bolt straight in, some have LSDs as standard, lighter (has alloy block)
the st170 is the old zetec (i know it says duratech, but it isn't), not in any way related to zetec s. old zetec is iron blocked and has induction at rear of engine, zetec s and duratec are alloy blocked, with induction at front.
st170 gearbox is unique (6 speed/ getrag?) and is apparently massive
