Default 15's on a mk3

what would be the best tyre size for 15s on a mk3? its lowered by about 30/35mm n im bidding on some 15s that have got 195/55's on em, but the tyres look huge! what profile do you think would be best for it to handle well, but still look nice?

Best off with 195/45's. The Max I'd go to is 195/50 but even that's pushing it

45 profile tyres look good , but there a bit more expensive

go for 195 / 50 profile tyres, theyll be fine, If you want good grip then buy TOYO R888's , theyre an amazing road legal track tyre, but they will only last maybe 6-8 thoudand miles, theyre about 67 qiud each from Camskill

If you use 45 profile on 15s your wheels will be the same size as standard 13/14s so your speedo wont be out

If you go for 50 profile expect it to read wrong by a little

15" rim ET35 with a rim width no larger than 7J mated to a quality 195/45/15 tyre and a suspension drop not exceeding 30mm and you'll have a riot.

I get on very well with Yoko Parada, and Yoko AVS Sport on my S2 and have good reports on the Avon ZV3 that I run on my daily hack. The Yoko A539's on my Fiesta I would describe as acceptable, nothing more

I had 45's on my rs500 wheels and they are perfect on a -35mm drop, arches had to be trimmed back though.

I would agree with the comment on the A539's - good in the wet but a bit scarey in the dry.

I got my a539's off www.mytyres.co.uk - £45 a corner.
