I finally got shot of the -55mm springs and got a set of -25mm springs instead and the transformation is stunning. The car drives so much nicer than before and also seems to have gained a bit more mechanical grip than it had.

Also added a powder coated rocker cover

Didn't get as far as fridge freezer shopping though so the missus wasn't too happy

Yep a massive improvement Steve, i have a set of -25 and -35mm springs to find which ones are best, anything lower than -40mm is very uncomfy and jeopardizes the suspension setup, looks the nuts mate

Cheers

Only reason the 55's were fitted were because I had them on the old XR2i so they were in my spares bin.

Chuffed with the new stuff though. Really makes me smile while driving

looks like TSW steaths to me.

if you got 205 tyres on the mondeo wheel that your putting on a fez you need to change then to 195

They are 15" TSW Stealths of 7J width and ET35 offset.

Ironically they are the wheels from my S2 that I sold to a mate of my brothers after fitting my 17's. Was surprised when I brought them back again 2 years later

Here's the rims the first time around

Oh the shame of the CD on the fan and the fibreglass front bumper and those tints

And when I first got them, trial fitting before refurb and painting

Not sure if I preffered them the normal colour now
