Default FIESTA TURBO FAN PROBLEM

Hi there...

Was wondering if anyone can help regarding a problem with my bro's frst. Last night he calls me and says his fans haven't cut in and the heaters dont work inside the car I've heard that this is a fault with them due to a relay in the fuse box is this right?
Also if this is the case do ford's stock them and does anyone know the part number??

Cheers people

BEHIND YOUR FUSE BOX, WHERE THE ACTUAL RELAYS SIT, THERES A GREEN RELAY WHICH IS PRONE TO BURN UP A BIT FROM TIME TO TIME.

THIS RELAY CONTROLS THE FAN, FOG LAMPS AND HEATER.

JUST UNDO THE TWO FUSE BOX SCREWS UNDER THE FUSE BOX PLASTIC COVER, PUSH THE BOX INTO THE FOOTWELL AND REPLACE THE RELAY. TEN MINUTE JOB.

HOPE THIS SOLVES THE PROBLEM.

Fan problems....

Check:
Fan switch and wiring as they can melt.
Green relay and board as they to can melt.

Sort one or both and your fan should be ok

thats not a too bad of a job of the mk3.

if your bro dont have a green relay he prob get a yellow one so get a green one and try that but norm cleaning the pins with some wet and dry or a knife and giving then a tiny and i mean a tiny bend 99.9% gets it all working again
