Default Pic request of ISCV - *Another Question Added At Bottom*

Need a pic of a Hitatchi Idle Speed Control Valve. It's mounted on the bulk head somewhere and not on the throttle body/inlet manifold.

If u could post ur pics of XR2i engine bays to help it wuld be much appreciated.

Cheers

dont have one handy now but I'll take one and posted tomorrow but just out of curiosity what are you trying to find out?
coz there is three types one that was fitted on the air flilter box and not on the bulk head, the other was fitted in the bulk head but feed through the air box and the last one as in the pics through the air inlet pipe hope that helped

Just to expand on this, Phil DJ has an early XR2i that came fitted with a Weber ISCV, Ford did a recall soon after as it was found the Weber ISCV's were causing problems and the Hitachi ISCV's were fitted to the vehicles and were relocated to the bulkhead on a bracket (later cars have a different inlet manifold and the Hitachi ISCV bolts onto that direct)

Although ive already given you the page off microcat what more do you want

Ok, so looks like i'm gonna have to change my manifold as this is gonna be easier to get hold of.

Am i gonna need to change my airbox as well as the ISCV is obviously attached at the moment and when it's relocated to the throttle body there'll be a gaping hole

Where does this weber type goes??The one with the metal housing but still weber?
As I.ve bought it today but don't know where it goes ....it has metal plate with two holes for screws and two pipes for hoses..it's has grey plastic not red, and does not mount to the air filter box???
I could put it anywhere but I think that the distance from the intake chamber is important ...any ideas???

Oh nightmare

My personal pet hate is alarm fitters that fit the siren to the heater box on series 1&2's cos theres practically no other spaces.

Wankers
